Meningiomas
Meningiomas are also benign slow growing tumors that can arise covering of the brain at the base of the skull. In particular, tumors underneath the frontal lobe or within the sella can be removed endoscopically if they are small in size and do not extend significantly off to the sides. In addition, tumors in the cavernous sinus, which are best treated with radiation therapy, can be biopsied using the endoscopic approach as an alternative to a craniotomy.
